Bastio Private Suites - Catania

Spent 3 nights in this hotel during our trip in Catania. All of the staff members were helpful and kind. Our room was reasonably large, easy access to public parking. Tea and coffee making equipment, and glassware were very handy.

I was surprised with the suite.

The buffet breakfast was a delightful way to start the day, and the free WiFi kept me connected to my important social media updates. The shared lounge, hot tub, and hammam provided me with the perfect relaxation options during my stay.

The only downside was that the bicycle rental service was not available. I was really looking forward to pedaling around the city and pretending to be a pro cyclist.

My recent stay at this hotel was exceptional! the staff, especially Celso, went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. the room was even better than the photos - spacious, modern, and well-equipped with a whirlpool tub. the hotel's historic charm and central location made exploring Catania a breeze. We enjoyed the lovely terrace overlooking the Basilica Cattedrale di Sant Agata and found it easy to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. the staff's attention to detail and helpful recommendations truly made our trip memorable. the breakfast, though not extravagant, was sufficient, and the coffee was amazing. We appreciated the friendly service from staff members like Evelyn. a fantastic stay!

The location of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk to the main gate entrance of the old part of the city. the rooms are spacious and fully equipped with modern amenities, including jacuzzi tubs with soothing jets. the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and ensuring your comfort throughout your visit.

The breakfast offering could be more varied to cater to different preferences.

We got amazing value for our money at Bastio Private Suites! The rooms were fine, with a perfect blend of heritage charm and modern amenities. The location couldn't have been better, right near the piazza, cathedral, and the fish market. The staff treated us like royalty, always warm and professional, and were really nice too make our stay nice. We can't recommend this place enough!

The only suggestion for the breakfast menu would be to add more variety.

Our stay at Bastio Private Suites was good. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host, Celso, were really good to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The room itself was fine, showcasing a perfect blend of modern amenities and historic charm. The ancient arch in our room added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. We were impressed by the attention to detail, with a coffee machine, fridge, safe, and a giant TV all provided for our convenience. The in-room whirlpool was a luxurious treat, great to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The shared terrace offered a private view of the beautiful Basilica Cattedrale di Sant Agata, creating a serene atmosphere. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short walk away from the bustling Piazza del Duomo.

While our stay was nearly perfect, there were a few minor drawbacks. One of the showers could benefit from a frosted privacy glass to enhance the overall experience.
